Position: Metals Trader
Experience: 5-10 years
CTC: 15-20 LPA
Location: Mumbai, India
Reporting to: CEO
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Purchase of Metals: Drive sales and purchase activities for metals, primarily focusing on Aluminum, Zinc, and Copper.
- Market Expertise: Develop and maintain a strong network in the metals market, particularly with metal buyers and suppliers, to facilitate high-value deals and partnerships.
- Negotiation and Deal Management: Conduct negotiations with metal suppliers to secure competitive deals and meet annual productivity goals, targeting an average of 3,000 tons in sales volume per year.
- Market Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest trends, pricing, and developments within the metal industry to align sales strategies with market conditions.
Key Requirements:
- Industry Experience: Proven experience in metals trading, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and buyer-seller networks.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and bargaining abilities with a demonstrated track record in securing favorable terms with suppliers.
- Sales Expertise: Target-driven mindset with a focus on achieving productivity targets and the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities in relevant markets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate value propositions effectively and maintain relationships within Maharashtra and beyond.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within Maharashtra and potentially to other locations as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or a master’s degree is a plus.
- 7-10 years of experience in metals trading or a closely related industry, with at least 3 years in a sales or purchasing role focused on high-volume transactions.
Compensation:
- CTC: ₹15-20 LPA, depending on experience and network strength.
