We are a leading fintech payment product provider seeking a seasoned AVP/Director of DevSecOps & Observability to join our Transformation – Platform Services team. This role is pivotal in shaping our DevSecOps strategy, ensuring secure and efficient software development and deployment, and establishing comprehensive observability frameworks.

Lead the design, implementation, and maturation of DevSecOps and Observability frameworks.
Develop and maintain secure and scalable build and deployment pipelines.
Oversee the containerization of applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-based solutions.
Manage a team of DevSecOps and Observability engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Work closely with product and program managers to define and implement DevSecOps practices aligned with business goals.
Implement and manage monitoring frameworks for business-critical and technical applications, including APM.
Ensure robust security protocols are integrated throughout the development lifecycle, minimizing production security vulnerabilities.
Drive continuous improvement in development speed and quality through effective DevSecOps practices.
Technical Skills:
DevSecOps Expertise: Experience with IDEs (VS Code, Eclipse), SCM tools (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket), security tools (SonarQube, Trivy, Defect Dojo), and secret management.
Containerization & Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), EKS, AKS, and related tools.
Observability & Monitoring: Proficiency with Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor.
Cloud Deployment: Strong background in AWS, Azure, GCP, or IBM Cloud environments.
Security & IAM: Experience with security protocols, IAM administration, and access control.
Business Intelligence Tools: Experience with Metabase, BIRT, Jasper, Power BI, etc.
Functional Skills:
Fintech Experience: Deep understanding of fintech industry standards and payment product development.
Leadership: Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams.
Agile Practices: Proficient in Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
